Our Story
About Us
The Petal Bar florist was founded on the principle that we want our beautiful flowers to be accessible to all; with our customers feeling at ease ordering a luxury bespoke bouquet handmade by an experienced florist, or popping in to our Bridgnorth shop for a few loose stems from the flower bar.
Our florist style is natural, country garden, which reflects our roots as a cut flower patch, on our smallholding, which borders Worcestershire, Shropshire and Staffordshire, where our flower studio is still based for larger events and weddings.
We only choose the best quality flowers for your arrangements, from our network of British growers and our friends in Holland. We love what we do and we have an incredibly passionate flower family, which we hope transpires when you visit our beautiful Bridgnorth Florist shop.
After a successful period in our premises on the historic Cartway, we now occupy a wonderful Grade II listed, Tudor building, on Bridgnorth High Street, near to the Town Hall. Since moving to our new Bridgnorth premises, we are excited to offer an array of carefully curated cards, homewares and gifts. Only things that we love make it onto our shelves. We have a wonderful selection of items from Powder, Toasted Crumpet, Niwaki, The Botanical Candle Company, Wanderlust Life, HAM and Gisela Graham.

I have always loved flowers but never imaged that I could work in the floristry environment, going back to college at my age has at times been a challenge but I’m pleased that I took myself out of my comfort zone and did it”. Deb loves to create special bouquets, table arrangements and thoughtful funeral tributes for families. Deb loves Ranunculus and Tulips in the spring and Hydrangea in the summer time.
